About the Role:

As a Pizza Maker, or Pizzaiolo, in Italy, you’ll play a central role in one of the country’s most iconic and beloved culinary traditions. Your primary responsibility is to prepare and cook authentic Italian pizzas using fresh ingredients, traditional techniques, and either wood-fired or modern pizza ovens. From crafting the perfect dough to mastering timing and temperature, this role requires a mix of skill, speed, and passion for food.

You’ll work closely with kitchen staff to ensure each pizza meets quality and presentation standards while maintaining a clean and efficient workstation. Depending on the establishment, you may also be involved in menu development, experimenting with toppings, or preparing other Italian dishes. You’re Responsibilities:
